Pakistan plans to ask Qatar to delay liquefied pure fuel deliveries over the following 5 years because the South Asian nation battles weak demand and rising import prices, Bloomberg Information reported on Monday.

Authorities officers are in Qatar this week to request a delay for supply of two LNG shipments monthly in 2026, Bloomberg reported, including that the deliveries could be rescheduled to after 2031. It cited individuals acquainted with the matter.
