Lucy Hale is reflecting on an incredible loss.
The Fairly Little Liars alum shared that her dad Preston Hale died July 17. He was 68 years previous.
“I can’t imagine I’m penning this, however my candy daddy out of the blue handed away on Friday,” she wrote alongside a July 20 Instagram publish that includes household photographs from through the years. “My dad was mind-numbingly humorous, delicate, and deeply variety. He adored his household, my step sisters, all his grandbabies, his canine (and mine), his lifelong pals, and my stepmom, Stacy—the love of his life. He was so happy with his profession in farming and of his hometown in Milan, Tennessee.”
Hale went on to notice her father was a “true Southern man with a real soul and a love for fishing, searching, {golfing}, and farming.”
“And he unconditionally liked me and my sister,” she added. “He by no means judged. Our relationship took on many varieties through the years, and thru all of it was a deep soul bond. Our final dialog was lovely. The final time I noticed him was lovely. Our final cellphone name was good.”
