Charles Spencer has discovered his happiness.
Virtually 30 years after Princess Diana tragically misplaced her life, her brother Charles, ninth Earl Spencer, married archaeologist Cat Jarman on Could 15.
“We each really feel so extremely fortunate to have progressed from being colleagues, to friendship, to deep love and connection,” Cat and Charles shared in a press release with Individuals. “Every stage of our relationship has been underpinned by laughter and we share a ardour for all times.”
And certainly, the pair first grew to become acquainted in 2021 when Charles—whose marriage to Cat marks his fourth—was tapped to overview her nonfiction e-book River Kings. Cat holds a PhD in archaeology, which she earned from the College of Bristol in 2017, and focuses on Viking historical past.
From there, Cat, 43, and Charles, 61, continued to collaborate on archaeological digs and commenced to co-host the podcast The Rabbit Gap Detectives earlier than confirming their relationship had turned romantic in 2024.
The couple’s nuptials—which occurred simply months after the Earl and his third spouse Karen Spencer finalized their divorce—passed off in Sedona, Arizona, with Cathedral Rock performing because the backdrop for his or her marriage ceremony photographs.
