Evaluations:
“Whereas that is removed from film (the performing, English dubbing and dialogue are terrible and it might probably’t even appear to determine whether or not the killer is possessed, insane or a mix of each), there’s sufficient motion, torture and unintentional laughs to make the entire thing extraordinarily entertaining. The ultimate 20 minutes are particularly enjoyable and energetic.” The Bloody Pit of Horror

“Hargitay’s over-the-top and intimidating efficiency makes up for the cardboard hero that’s Italian horror common Walter Brandi, who sleepwalks via the movie. Making all of it worthwhile is the attractive cinematography, numerous stimulating torture gadgets […] and the anticipated scantily clad ladies parading round.” DVD Drive-In

“The oddest factor by far is the villain’s motivation for his acts, to wit “to maintain his excellent physique free from contamination.” […] The dialogue is so ludicrous, and Mickey Hargitay so deranged (particularly within the final half of the film), that all of it turns into entertaining despite its unpleasantness.” Unbelievable Film Musings and Ramblings
“The sheer zaniness of all of it makes the overly elaborate dying gadgets and unlikely conditions completely acceptable. It’s simply that sort of film.” Italian Movie Overview

” …a comic-strip film, with a narrative informed via a collection of scenes, footage and pacing which can be extra akin to comics than cinema. Contained in the empty areas, that open frequently, immobilizing the story, one would usually be tempted to insert just a few captions and balloons.” Roberto Curti, Italian Gothic Horror Movies, 1957 – 1969

“One may name this movie campy and it can’t be denied, however what additionally can’t be mistaken is that every little thing from the very acquainted premise with a load of scantily-clad ladies to the flowery dying traps to the corpse of the unique Crimson Executioner making an look all provides as much as an extremely gratifying expertise.” The Telltale Thoughts
“Hargitay acts fairly nuts on this flick and his out-there efficiency alone is definitely worth the value of admission. The images periods are downright hilarious and there’s additionally an ideal, groovy rating and a few actually terrible dubbing that add to the film’s appeal. It’s a bit of on the tame aspect and a number of the plot contrivances may have you shaking your head in disbelief.” The Video Vacuum
