Geelong star Bailey Smith has apologised to the photographer he verbally abused at coaching on Wednesday.

It comes after the Information Corp photographer revealed it isn’t the primary time this 12 months he has confronted her.

Smith is alleged to have sworn at Geelong Advertiser snapper Alison Wynd as she photographed the Cats’ open coaching session.

The incident occurred whereas the 24-year-old was receiving therapy on the bench, after which he approached and confronted Wynd, who was taking photographs from the grandstand with a protracted lens.
