Over a decade after she cut up from Peter Facinelli following their almost 20-year relationship, the What I Like About You actress detailed how she rose above her breakup to concentrate on co-parenting her and Peter’s daughters Luca, 28, Lola, 23, and Fiona, 19.
“To be able to be the most effective co-parent I needed to be, I needed to actually come to a reckoning inside myself of forgiveness, of acceptance,” Jennie informed E! Information in an unique interview. “And it wasn’t even forgiving or accepting of another person—it was actually forgiving and accepting myself by way of all of it.”
And the I Select Me writer—whose new memoir is out now—emphasised that the grace she confirmed herself allowed her to prioritize her children.
