“Permission to function worldwide passenger flights at Mashhad Airport has been issued, beginning tomorrow,” state TV stated, quoting the Civil Aviation Organisation.
The organisation later stated travellers can now “buy tickets for worldwide routes to and from Mashhad Airport,” in keeping with the official IRNA information company.
Iranian airports have been closed because the outbreak of warfare with Israel and the USA on February 28.
The Civil Aviation Organisation had stated earlier that it might begin a phased reopening of Iran’s airspace, starting with transit flights, adopted by operations from japanese airports.
Airports in Tehran — Imam Khomeini and Mehrabad airports — are anticipated to reopen within the third part, with western airports resuming operations within the last part.
