Broadway gave a heat welcome to a batch of spring arrivals final week, with newcomers The Misplaced Boys, The Rocky Horror Present, Seashores, Fallen Angels and Titaníque starting previews to more-than-solid audiences.

- The Rocky Horror Present started previews at Studio 54, filling the venue and grossing $460,121 for 4 previews. Opening evening is April 23;
- The Misplaced Boys started previews on the Palace, grossing $489,214 and promoting out two previews. Opening evening is April 26.
Nonetheless in previews final week:
- Canine Day Afternoon starring Jon Bernthal and Ebon Moss-Bachrach ($1,289,749, 101%). Opened March 30;
- Becky Shaw, non-prof Second Stage’s manufacturing of the Gina Gionfriddo play starring The Pitt’s Patrick Ball alongside Alden Ehrenreich, Madeline Brewer and Linda Emond, took $302,811 for seven previews, filling 93% of seats on the Hayes. Opening April 6;
- Cats: The Jellicle Ball, the reimagining of the Andrew Lloyd Webber basic impressed by Harlem’s ball scene, grossed $901,045, filling 95% of seats on the Broadhurst. Opening evening is April 7;
- Loss of life of a Salesman ($1,110,432, 92% on the Winter Backyard. Opening April 9;
- The Concern of 13, the wrongful conviction drama starring Adrien Brody, performed eight previews on the James Earl Jones, filling 88% of seats and grossing $870,954. Opening evening is April 15.
Opening final week was Big starring John Lithgow as writer Roald Dahl, SRO for seven performances on the Music Field for a gross of $958,306.
Nonetheless going robust was latest arrival Each Good Factor, the Daniel Radcliffe-starrer on the Hudson, filling seats and grossing $1,407,707.
