With Neve Campbell and Kevin Williamson returning to the slasher franchise they helped launch 30 years in the past, the unique Scream crew is full steam forward.
Throughout Wednesday’s world premiere of Scream 7, co-writer/director Williamson informed Deadline that he and Campbell began “spit-balling” the following installment as they labored collectively on the present sequel, premiering Friday in theaters.
“If you’re sitting on the set at 3:00 within the morning, you’re like, ‘Effectively, what would Scream 8 be about?’ And also you simply begin spit-balling,” defined Williamson. “And Neve had this nice thought, and everybody appeared to run with it So yeah, if this film works and other people need it, we’re right here for the followers. So, if they need it, we’ll actually give it to them.”
