KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas Metropolis Royals catcher Salvador Perez was hit by a pitch and brought out of Monday evening’s towards the Atlanta Braves with a bruised left elbow.
Perez was hit within the left elbow within the third inning by a 94 m.p.h. fastball from Spencer Strider. He remained within the recreation till the fifth, when he was changed by Freddy Fermin. The group introduced that he had a left elbow contusion.
MLB.com reported that X-rays had been damaging.
A nine-time all-star and five-time Gold Glove recipient who was the 2015 World Sequence MVP, Perez was batting .293 with 15 homers and 62 RBIs.
