A lot of people credit this winning streak to the addition of Luka Doncic.
There is no doubt that Doncic has helped the team out a lot but the Lakers were actually starting to look better before they had Doncic in the lineup.
Still, his average of 22.9 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 7.7 assists is a massive benefit, especially because he will likely just get better as the season goes on.

He has figured out how to get the most out of the offense but he has also tweaked LA’s defense, even without Anthony Davis.
He may not win Coach of the Year this season but a lot of Lakers fans feel he deserves that trophy.

They have a couple of challenges ahead of them because they face the New York Knicks on Thursday and then the Boston Celtics on Saturday.
