‘We’re ready to face the forbidden dark’
Dark Nuns is a 2025 supernatural horror film about two nuns who work together to save a boy who has been possessed by an evil spirit. The film is a spin-off of The Priests (2015) by Jang Jae-hyun.
The movie was directed by Kwon Hyeok-Jae and stars Song Hye-Kyo, Jeon Yeo-Been, Lee Jin-Wook and Moon Woo-Jin.
Plot:
A boy named Hee-Joon (Moon Woo-Jin) becomes possessed by an evil spirit. People around him struggle to save him. Nun Yunia (Song Hye-Kyo) takes action to save the boy, who is overwhelmed by powerful pain and she never gives up on the boy.
Nun Mikaela (Jeon Yeo-Bin) takes an interest in Nun Yunia’s actions and decides to help her even though everything is chaos around them. Priest Paul (Lee Jin-Uk), who is also a psychiatrist, believes that he can cure Hee-Joon with medical treatments. Priest Andrew (Heo Jun-Ho) performs an exorcism to expunge the evil spirit from the young Hee-Joon. Meanwhile, the nuns must confront their fears and beliefs as they battle against the powerful evil that threatens Hee-joon’s life and the sanctity of their order.
