Even though he hasn’t been in the NBA for long, Bronny James has already stolen all of the headlines.
He was even at the center of the billboard announcing the Summer League, while No. 1 pick, Zaccharie Risacher was nowhere to be found.
That kind of media frenzy for a second-round pick is only made possible by the fact that he’s LeBron James’ firstborn, and he even has a fan base now.
With that in mind, he shared his thoughts about the biggest surprise he came across during his Summer League debut.
Apparently, he was shocked by the environment and the fact that he even had some Golden State Warriors fans show up to watch him play (Via Jovan Buha).
Bronny James on the biggest surprise in his summer league debut: “Maybe the atmosphere. It was more than I expected. I mean, it’s a big game for me, but I didn’t know if people from Golden State would come and rep for me. So that was pretty nice to see.”

That’s the kind of West Coast love just a handful of privileged people get.
Now, it’s all about proving that he’s actually deserving of it.
It was a rough debut for the USC product, who went 2-for-9 from the field and 0-for-2 from the free-throw line.
Known for his defense and decision-making, both left plenty to be desired in 21 minutes of playing time, often settling for long twos and even getting crossed up on defense.
James is going to be under a lot of pressure to deliver, and he can thank Rich Paul and his father for that.
