LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV Athletics invites the community to make an impact and invest in the success of its student-athletes by donating during Rebels Give, Thursday, October 11 and Friday, October 12.
The university-wide #RebelsGive program is scheduled to take place over a 1,957-minute span, commemorating the year of UNLV’s founding (1957).
#RebelsGive is a key part of UNLV Athletics’ Drive for 5 Membership Campaign, in which the Rebel Athletic Fund is working to double its membership base to more than 5,000 donors and grow annual philanthropic revenue.
Gifts made to UNLV Athletics during #RebelsGive will directly support student-athlete scholarships, advancing the department’s important mission to graduate leaders, win championships and excel in all that we do.
“Thanks to the leadership and vision provided by our Drive for 5 Chairman Ryan Moore and long-time Rebel Athletic Fund member Tom Jingoli, we have $50,000 already pledged,” said UNLV Director of Athletics Desiree Reed-Francois. “Our goal is to double that to $100,000 for our student-athletes with $50,000 in new gifts during the Rebels Give event. This is an important initiative and a key catalyst for student-athlete excellence. We truly hope that our donors, fans and community members join us to maximize this exciting opportunity for life-changing impact.”
To add incentive, the Rebel Athletic Fund will offer double priority points on all gifts at $100.00 and up through the #RebelsGive Challenge.
