THE FACTORY KITCHEN LAS VEGAS NOW OPEN

The popular Italian Trattoria in Downtown Los Angeles opens second location at The Venetian Resort® Las Vegas

Las Vegas (Jan. 2, 2019) – The Factory Kitchen is now open at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. The newest Factory Place Hospitality Group restaurant made its debut on New Year’s Eve, introducing their Italian cuisine to the Las Vegas market.

The Factory Kitchen is the product of a long-standing friendship between Ferdinandi and Chef Angelo Auriana. Ferdinandi and Auriana share the vision of imparting their Italian roots and memories through food and hospitality. The original trattoria, serving traditional Italian recipes, opened its doors on Oct. 24, 2013, in The Arts District, Downtown Los Angeles. The Factory Kitchen takes its name from the street it’s located on and the former factory building complex that hosts it, but the restaurant is purely Italian.
The food at The Factory Kitchen takes center stage, with a lively pasta-making station where pastas including Casonzei, pork sausage and veal ravioli with pork belly, sage brown butter and Reggiano Parmigiano cheese and Modenesi, 18-month aged Prosciutto di Parma tortellini. Filling the length of the back of the restaurant, the pasta station is also where The Factory Kitchen’s signature Mandilli di Seta is made—thin sheets of handkerchief egg pasta with Ligurian almond basil pesto, a favorite at the restaurant’s flagship location in Downtown Los Angeles.
Beverage Director and Sommelier Francine Diamond-Ferdinandi has created a wine list which reflects the essence of their distinctive regions. Though Italian wines will be prevalent at The Factory Kitchen, additional wines from neighboring Western European countries and beyond are served.
A carefully-crafted cocktail list, always highlighting the main spirit, includes modern, approachable takes libations, including the If I Can Dream – Redemption rye, Valet angostura, lemon and demerara. New cocktails only in Las Vegas include The Pilgrim – Plymouth gin, lemon, simple syrup, caper brine, pepper and thyme, and the Yosemite Sam – Redemption rye, buffalo trace, California Fernet, luxardo, dry vermouth and besk. The “Factory Standards” section features some of The Factory Kitchen Los Angeles’ favorites, including the sfactory 1923 – St. George “terroir” gin and homemade tonic.
The space, is a vibrant, 152-seat restaurant designed by Architect Thomas Schlesser of DESIGN BUREAUX. A large neon centerpiece adorns the 25-seat lounge and is a social media-worthy photo opportunity. Pops of The Factory Kitchen’s signature orange are carried throughout the restaurant, as well as hints of forest green and rustic reclaimed wood. In contrast with the organic earth tones are industrial details: Touches of rose gold adorn the art deco-style light fixtures, white marble bar and pasta station and plush grey banquettes line the perimeter of the restaurant. Tempered glass lines the outside of the restaurant façade, which is playful and interactive with the lively corridor that connects The Venetian Resort and The Palazzo, but still offers guests comfort and privacy.
The Factory Kitchen Las Vegas is located on Restaurant Row at The Venetian Resort and is open for dinner at 5 p.m. until Friday, Jan. 4., when they will also open for lunch. At which time, hours will be 11 a.m. – 11 p.m., daily.
