All is merry and bright as the Bavarian Beer Hall brings on the holiday magic with festive fare and a community event benefitting underserved youth
LAS VEGAS (Nov. 27, 2018) – Ho-Ho-Hofbräuhaus! Celebrate the magic of the holiday season Bavarian-style with special holiday happenings and menu offerings available at Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas. Throughout the month of December, join in on the jolly festivities at the Haus.
STUFF-A-BUS TOY DRIVE
Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas is getting in the spirit of the season this December supporting Clark County Commissioner Lawrence Weekly’s 6th Annual Stuff-A-Bus toy drive to collect gifts for local foster, adopted and underserved youth. On Friday, Dec. 14 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Hofbräuhaus will host the bus on-site at the corner of Harmon and Swenson for patrons to participate in the toy drive before heading inside the Haus for a holiday event featuring photos with Santa, limited-edition Holiday Beer, pretzel ornament decorating for kids and food specials including Hofbräuhaus’ specialty pork shank. Get in the spirit of the season by giving back and celebrating with family and friends at this special community event.
CHRISTMAS
On Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25, make merry and bright with the festive fare offered at Las Vegas’ favorite Bavarian Beer Hall. On Christmas Eve, guests can enjoy an abundance of customary German offerings, including split pea soup with frankfurter sausage for $6. A true Bavarian favorite, the Gebackener tortenbrie, brie cheese breaded and fried golden brown and served with a salad bouquet and cranberries for $15. For the main dish, the Grillente, a hefty helping of roasted duck with onions, apples and oranges served with potato dumplings, red cabbage and orange sauce priced at $18 for the one quarter duck serving and $29 for the half duck serving. For dessert, share the signature warm holiday bread pudding “Black Forest,” served with chocolate ice cream, holiday spiced cherries and whipped cream for $10. Adding to the tradition of a true German Christmas, the specialty beverage of the day is Glühwein, German mulled wine, served warm with Christmas spices for $6.
On Christmas Day, gather around the table and delight in the split pea soup with frankfurter sausage for $6 and the Gebackener tortenbrie, brie cheese breaded and fried golden brown and served with a salad bouquet and cranberries for $15. The main course of the evening is the Hofbräuhaus Surf & Turf with seared beef tenderloin, salmon and shrimp served with green asparagus, parsley Yukon gold potatoes and béarnaise sauce for $28. A special dessert offering, the warm cinnamon bread pudding is sure to satisfy served with vanilla ice cream, eggnog anglaise, holiday spiced cherries and whipped cream for $10. A true German Christmas favorite, the specialty beverage of the day is Glühwein, German mulled wine, served warm with Christmas spices for $6.
