ELECTRIC SAFARI CELEBRATES THE END OF THE 2018 POOL SEASON WITH DRAG ICONS DJ RHEA LITRÉ AND CHI CHI LA RUE

 

The smash-hit LGBT night swim will host its final seasonal events Aug. 24 and Aug. 3

LAS VEGAS (Aug. 22, 2018)– The Las Vegas pool season is winding down, but Electric Safari at Flamingo Las Vegas is turning up for its final night swims of the year. The Strip’s newest LGBT party will feature drag headliners DJ Rhea Litré, Friday, Aug. 24 and Chi Chi La Rue, Friday, Aug. 31. Doors open at 9 p.m. for each night swim, where guests can enjoy high-energy DJs, pop-up performances, and more.

DJ Rhea Litré (Aug. 24)
A fixture on the West Hollywood nightlife scene, DJ Rhea Litré has released several singles, including “Let’s Have a Kai Kai” with William Bell and “Lovergirl.” Litré has appeared on hit television shows including RuPaul’s Drag Race and America’s Next Top Model, as well as in music videos for Demi Lovato, Rita Ora, Kat Graham, and Adam Lambert. Born Joshua Miller, Litré rose to fame when he moved to Los Angeles to audition for the second season of American Idol and performed in drag for the first time at Oasis Nightclub’s Drag Idol in Upland, California.

Chi Chi La Rue (Aug. 31)
Chi Chi La Rue is a DJ, drag performer, and safe sex advocate whose rigorous schedule takes him around the world to perform at benefits and nightclubs. He began performing as a DJ following a long and illustrious career as a producer and director in the adult film industry. La Rue’s first major gig was at Mezzanine, San Francisco’s premiere live music venue, nightclub, and event space, during the annual Folsom Street Fair. Born Larry Paciotti, his famous alter ego emerged at the age of 20, when he formed half of The Weather Girls, which quickly became the most sought-after drag act in the state.
